200,000 Mile Club

There are few sports cars that have such a demonstrated reliability as the S2000 does.  100,000 miles is common – not even worth mentioning around here.  And a few years back, 200,000 miles started cropping up as lucky owners crossed that great threshold.  If you look hard enough, you can even see an increasing number of 300,000 mile examples, still in great condition and Honda-reliable.

It is pretty remarkable that a hand-assembled car such as the S2000 has such a demonstrated reliability – you just don’t see that in other cars of this caliber, or even cars at much higher price points.  It is one of the many unique traits about the S2000 that it is not only a great comprehensive roadster, but it is one that is daily-drivable.

Sure, you could buy a Ferrari, but you’d never drive it to 20,000 miles, let alone 200,000.  Save some money, buy an S, and work on getting to the 200,000 mile club – we even have a badge!  Check out the ongoing discussion in the S2000 Talk forum – 200,000 Mile Club
