I owned a 2003 Silverstone Metallic/Black S2000 from 2007 to 2010. I got married and traded it in for my 2011 Honda Pilot. I regret it everyday. Trading it the S, not the marriage.
I am looking to buy another one in the next few years. Not sure if I want an AP1 or AP2. I am interested in autocross. I may make an appearance this weekend with a bud at MFS. I swear I had an account on here a long time ago. I wonder if they purge them due to inactivity.

Work - I own Dockside Vapors, an e liquid company
Car Mods:
- Top Secret front bumper
- Carbon hood
- Spoon Hardtop
- Volk LE-28 wheels
- 3" header back exhaust with vibrant muffler
- K&N intake
- KW variant 3 coilovers with adjustable Cusco mounts
- ACT HD PP, 6 puck sprung disk, prolite flywheel
- Stoptech slotted rotors, Hawk HP+ pads and Goodridge stainless brake hoses
- Solid diff mounts
- Works Bell quick release steering hub
- Momo steering wheel
- ARC titanium shift knob
- Ricks s2k badges
- MAJOR weight reduction. Removed AC and all lines/hoses, radio, speakers, interior, soft top and motors, coolant lines running around TB and intake manifold, heater core, evap system including charcoal canister, airbags and controller, and pulled metal strips off the transmission tunnel.
General Info: I'm 27, been wrenching on stuff since I can remember and wanted a track car that was still occasionally streetable. I bought the S in early 07 and have been working on it since then.

Work: Insurance claim rep
Location: Live in Florence, work in Birmingham occasionally, and spend most weekends in Prattville
Hobbies: driving the S, riding my motorcycle, playing bass guitar, and playing ps4
Other interests: helicopters and aviation
Mods: (were on it when I bought it)
- Swift Spec R Springs
- Koni 1-way adjustable shocks (idk what kind)
General Info: I had a Spa Yellow 2003 model from 2009 - 2014. Sadly I was forced into a bad situation with bald tires. I lost her and almost my life. I never was very active on the forums, but I joined quite a long time ago. I tend to mostly read and not post much. A convoluted series of events over the past few years brought me full circle. I missed my previous S2k the entire time and recently sold the car I had replaced it with so I could get another one. I picked up a silver 2002 about a week or so ago. I had left the first one stock (except for an exhaust I put on after getting rearended) and never took it to an Auto-X or track day. This go round, I plan to modify it heavily and race it some. I'm definitely going to Auto-X it some and I want to take it to Barber. So far, I've been reading and posting more than before.

I had looked at an S several years ago but it wasn't the right one for me. Very happy with the one I recently purchased. I was able to meet two of the previous owners and learn almost the entire history of the car, which included thorough maintenance records. I don't plan to do much with it other than drive it. Inspected the valve retainers and while they are still AP1 there were no indication that any were cracked. Plan to change the plugs, diff and tranny fluids when the next oil change is due.
