Just got my S2k, including an HKS hi power dual exhaust. It sounds pretty good, just not my style. Anyone with a stock AP1 exhaust (is there any difference in exhaust between AP1/2?) want to trade?

Man, that is a good deal. Also a VERY good drive from Huntsville. Wife's pretty well done with travel for this guy for the time being XD

I think I saw an already UK-modded exhaust in Bham for $150 (unfortunately from an AP2) on craigslist.

Some of the more experienced local guys can correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure I've seen a few pop up on craigslist in the last couple years. If you wait a bit, you might be able to find a stock exhaust for cheap somewhere nearby. There's also the classified section on the TAC forums. Maybe you could make a net profit by selling the HKS?

If you don't end up finding a deal anywhere (or just get tired of looking), I'd probably be willing to trade. My stock tips are kind of banged up on the bottom, though. Is that exhaust loud? I feel like I've read mixed reports on the volume and it's hard to tell from YouTube videos.

It is surprisingly reasonable. It's fairly interesting. It's nearly non-existent at idle, but really does make a great sound when you get on it. I can see why they're highly regarded, just not what I'm looking for. Let me know if you come around Providence and you can have a listen in person.

And yeah, I've seen exhausts up on CL before as well. Just figured I'd see if I could make it happen without any money usage, but I'm sure I could come out on top if I were to just buy/sell properly.
