Sorry to hear it got totaled! Glad you are ok though. What year is it and what is the mileage? You should be able to sell the seats for almost 1k right off the top so I am sure you could part it out and make some money.

If you have the time and resources to part it out, you can almost certainly get more than $3700 out of it (and make a lot other S2k owners happy). Depends on how much work you want to do.

Shame, it's a beautiful car!

I second this completely. If you have the time and patience a "car totaled parting out" thread could bring you well over $3700. I would do it.

Looks like you're making out pretty well. I just looked at your thread in the for sale section.

Yeah, still losing out because I had so much invested in it... My advice to anyone is if you have extras on your car call your insurance and make sure your accessories are carried on your policy, my paint job, my wheels, stereo, etc. they only gave me $500 over blue book. I was told had I notified them of everything the would have increased my accessory value for a situation like this.

Yeah that is a hard lesson to learn. You have to inform them of the extras OR have an agreed upon value policy. Sorry to hear you are learning the hard way.
