I have Blizzak WS60's on AP1 wheels. Never got stuck in the two pgh winters I had the S. Actually, that's not exactly true, I got stuck once on a random icy spot the day we did this:

Otherwise the S handles the snow like a champ.

Count me in for Tire Rack over DTD. As for tires I bought Michelin xIce 3's 2 winters ago and they are AWESOME! They turned the Civic in to a tank!

I loved these. I don't think they're available anymore.
My next best experience and current tire is Blizzak.

Just a update, i went with matercraft glacier grip on both the s2000 and my girlfriends jetta and had zero issues. Although we didnt have the worst winter, i did take it out on the worst days and did just fine. although this was my first winter with designated snow tires, i feel comfortable recomending them and i will be using them again next season.

Im back to summer tires now and went with yet again mastercraft.. Im not sure if the tire place i use has a deal with them specifically or what but so far i dont have any complaints with these either. A part of me wants to hate them simply for the name, call me crazy but i feel like i have better piece of mind with a more reputable name brand. I've only put a few hundred miles on them so time will tell but for now they are working well.

I've used Mastercraft Glacier Grip snow tires without issues on a number of my cars since 2003 without issues.

I took mine off 2 weeks ago then it snowed twice right after. My friends at work were blaming me.
