Most of 97-96 was great until we hit motorcycle traffic that wouldnt let us by. Some of the group got lost and drove 20 miles of dirt road through skull valley. surprisingly, they were only a few minutes behind the rest once we all stopped in Jerome. I might do that route during the week.

Cool thread. I live just by the base of Mt Lemmon and am a regular visitor. We did the night tour not too long ago at Kitt Peak, but had not heard about anything interesting down by Arivaca. Went down there to visit Ruby, goof off in the desert and just generally explore. Are there some good roads down there too?
