Default Any suggestions for a clutch replacement in the Valley?

Hey guys - my clutch needs to be replaced and I have about 20 miles left on it before the car is immobile. It happened remarkably quickly. I've never needed to replace a clutch before so I'm a little naive on this subject - do you have any suggestions for places around the Valley that could provide labor? I'll be supplying the parts.

I'd ideally prefer some suggestions for places that have Honda/S2000/RWD specialization or anything that's more relevant than any mechanic's shop. Or, better, I know many of you guys know your cars in and out and I wouldn't oppose paying you directly for the service if you have time! Having another S owner with the experience do the installation would be #1.

I spoke to the guys at Science of Speed and they had a three-week wait list before I could even bring the car in. I would like their expertise and service, but I can't wait three weeks to have a functioning daily driver.

Thanks in advance!

leshiro99 might be able to help you. He's a Honda tech. Hopefully he sees this and chimes in.

That would be great! Is he active on here or other sites often? Maybe I can hunt him down and PM him.

Thank you for your suggestion, and as I would highly prefer SOS, as I mentioned in my OP they are booked for 3.5 weeks and I need a daily driver.

Do you have a garage? I have all the tools needed and can come to you. I have done several clutch replacements. Are you planning to resurface your flywheel or install a new one?

I think it'd be easier to install a new flywheel. I don't have a garage, as I live in an apartment by ASU in Tempe.

That said, I do have AAA and I'll tow the car to whichever person/garage can fix it.

SOS quoted me $630 for the labor + $40 to resurface the flywheel.

EDIT: I'm clarifying that the $630 was for the labor - parts not included.
