I don't change my rotors I just swap pads for track days.

It is always recommended to swap rotors. Pads work best with a transfer layer applied. It is very difficult to get a transfer layer to lay down properly over the layer of another pad (bedding). That is why it is always recommend to resurface or scrub the rotors prior to a pad swap. You should be fine if you go fairly easy at the track or your pads are not overly aggressive.

The free deaership inspection said my rear pads were at 4mm. At what point should I replace them? The front pads were measured at 7mm.

Thanks, peiserg, I'll keep an eye on them. The dealership wanted to replace them, of course. I'm trying to see if I can get financing and the car ready for some HPDE this fall, so I don't want to run too low.
