E85

So I ended up ordering some 90. It will yield about 5% more power than the 85. Unfortunately it's also about 9 bucks a gallon delivered. I have come up with a pretty viable alternative however. I have an F250 and access to relatively inexpensive labor. I can pay someone to drive my truck 4 hours into California to the closest E85 station. I can have them fill up three or four 55 gallon drums for me at 2:50 a gallon. It might cost me two hundred bucks in gas and labor to get there and back. That will be more than offset by the enormous savings vs paying $9 a gallon locally especially if I bring in a couple hundred gallons at a time

not any more than i talk to them about the 124 gallons i keep in my cars when they are fueled up and sitting in my garage with a natural gas water heater sitting there doing its thing. If the house catches on fire i doubt its going to be because fuel in a sealed steel drum spontaneously combusted.

I don't think it'd necessarily be causative, but I'd be willing to bet if your house burnt down your insurance isn't going to be terribly eager to pay out if they find out you had that much gas stored in the garage.
