My last 2 oem had a horrible problem with pitting. It was difficult to see out of when traveling in the direction of the sun.
I thought about the film when I first moved out here. The film was going to cost me money, the windshield replacement only costs me 90 minutes.

My first S came with the clear film on the windshield installed by the previous owner and personally i liked it, held up perfectly for 5+ years before i sold it. Did lots of highway driving, never had to replace the windshield either unlike my others

I had 3M film from Ryan for 4 years or so on the CR until I finally took it down. It worked well until it gets so pitted that the blades don't wipe water as efficiently and scratches become visible beyond repair. The new film might not have those issues. Expensive but worth it. At the point I took it off I wasn't driving the car enough to put it back on.

I got new tires for the GPW after driving Josh's car with them. Don't let the price fool you. The Indy 500's are good tires with excellent traction including the rain. So far so good except I need to go back for road force balancing. I'm getting a slight vibration post 70mph. I've been back to balance twice now. Always frustrating when you can't dial that in on the first try.

My replacement OEM windshield on the CR only has a few thousand miles and it's already pitted and chipped up much worse than I would have expected. I think next time I replace the windshield I will look into having it done.

Had to swap my wiper arms today. Safelight installed them on the opposite sides when they replaced my windshield a few days ago. Had to put in a new cabin air filter too. At right around 2 years, it was filthy. Normally I would replace them every 3-4 years in FL. Looks like it will be every 18-24 months now.

Put my car in a blender after my accident, the outcome is not what I expected at all.

Replaced the clutch and flywheel on the Yellow AP2 last weekend. The car feels great now with the lightweight flywheels and drives really well. Still need to do a few more things like replace the VTEC solenoid gasket and spark plugs this weekend.

Turns out, the clutch was replaced at 114k miles, however, the friction disc had failed at the spring housing, causing the spring to dislodge and make contact with the pressure plate.

Well, that crap overspray/sand residue, whatever it is that was all over my car when I got it back from the body shop did not come off when I washed it. It sounded like I was wet sanding the car the whole time. Looks like I will have to do a full detail again, even though I just did a 3 stage polish a month or two ago. My lambskin wash mit started falling apart, if that says anything to the severity of the damage.
