Default Official TECH_HEAD Thread. Whats new in the world?

This thread is meant to discuss updates in Technology or what Tech stuff interests you. Ask about what you would like to to learn about or topics you are curious on.
We have some pretty technologically savvy people in the Ark-La-Tex and many people who work in many different areas.

I'll list a few specifics that I know of:

Icemans2k02 = TheIrepair.com / For all your Iphone/Ipod/Mac needs
Agent.Marshall = Geek Squad at Best Buy
Rinaudo = TV Department at Best Buy; Plasma/LED/LCD
Globallyoff = Computer/Home Theater geek, Electronics guru

Many of us have a little knowledge of something... So let's get Tekkie

Computers/Televisions/Mobile Devices/ECT

Whatever is on your mind, post it up.... Questions/Comments, doesn't matter.

Sounds like a hive of p!ssed off bumblebees! Way cool, but do NOT let my BF see that. He's already an RC heli junkie.

Okay guys, this is the new HTC Incredible sporting Android 2.1, and coming to Verizon in the very near future. Check out Noah's unboxing from Phonedog.com. It's kind of a lengthy video that doesn't go into much detail, but if your a phone junkie you'll probably enjoy it nonetheless.

Cool. I've heard about the Incredible. I've been thinking about it as my next phone. I have the HTC Droid Eris and love it. So this being the Android 2.1 software it should be awesome.

Yeah, the Eris is a pretty nice phone. When I got my moto Droid, it was kinda a toss up for me between the two. I really like htc's Sense UI, and of course the seven home screens.

They're saying the Incredible will be the best Android device on the market. I'm not due for an upgrade until the middle of next year, so I'll be anxious to see what comes out between now and then.

I got the Eris over the Moto because of the fact it's a bit more compact and slightly lighter. After having a blackberry storm I was tired of carrying around a brick and the Moto droid seemed heavier... I'm sure because of the keyboard. Don't get me wrong I liked the Moto... just wanted something slightly lighter.
