Just wondering, do you have any concerns over the radiation there at the moment?

Yes i've been there last year November but i hear things have grown worse. I've got flights booked already for Feb next year and i'm wondering if i should cancel

Nope, no concerns. Radiation levels in Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka are by all reports completely normal.

I also have a friend who has gone to Fukushima for 6 months to teach english and she is not concerned.

If you want the exact details let me know, I used to live in Tokyo.
I'd love a Google maps reference. I won't have a car whilst there but can find my way on public transport.

I'm off this Saturday.

Sitting in an izakaya in Osaka. Got off the plane at Itami airport and caught a coach into town. As soon as we hit the overpass I look over and see a white S2000 poking out of a workshop.

Is J's near the airport?

Well, been in Japan a week now and seen one and one third S2000s.

The one third was just when I got off the plane, I saw the front of one sticking out of a workshop below the overpass just out of Itami airport.

Saw another go past on a road in Tokyo.

And it 's not like I haven't been looking.

Ok, so two and a third. Saw one from the N'EX (Narita Express) train from Tokyo to Narita airport.

Most vehicles we saw in Japan were japanese econoboxes. Nissan Cubes and the like. Seems the S2000 is a luxury if in terms of practicality rather than price. Makes me very proud to own one.

I think you will find the S2K is soooo turn of the century grandpa. Cars and trends tend to turn over quickly there.
