Jenson's awesome Q3 lap from 2012 that put him on pole. His McLaren was the fastest in all sessions and he won the race leading from pole. Watch the video and you will hear the rev limiter kick in about 4 times on the Kemmel straight. Hope McLaren gets back to those ways

Voted for Daniel Ricciardo. A big win is due to him. It'll probably be the silver arrows, but if history is any indication this race favors the McLarens, Red Bulls and Ferrari. I'll be hoping for a win from the others just so the second half of the season starts with a bang.

I hope Lewis takes his engine penalty here. If they get rain I like his chances to come up the field and fight for a win. Nico has been pretty weak in the wet.

In the dry, I think Lewis can still manage a nice haul of points.

Can't wait for this, as I was there only a few weeks ago. Hopefully the Mclaren Honda engines do better than mine did:

That is a superb thread. Thank you so much for sharing. I hope you get your car back on track soon. Do you know what caused the issue? Over here, at Watkins Glen, the AP1s are known to have oil starvation issues coming out of the Toe of the Boot (Turn 7). Like Spa, it's an old school track with a micro-climate all of its own. Mixed conditions are the norm and one can expect all rain or rain on one portion of the track while the other sectors are dry. Spa is a bucket list track for me after years of running at Watkins Glen and gaining an appreciation for an old school track whose layout follows the natural topography of the land. Hopefully I get to drive it some day. Looking forward to the race as well and hoping the McLarens finish well.

Lewis has a grid penalty and will likely start last. The question though is will Nico squander the opportunity

Yeah, if Nico doesn't win, he might as well change his name to Rubens.
