Lewis thanks Nico for letting him by

http://m.bbc.com/sport/formula1/36410001

Feel bad for DR. He had the race in hand until that botched pit stop. And it wasn't like he did not try after. I think wins are going to come his way.

Kimi seems to be having the mid-season Blues. He always seems to do this right around when the season gets to Europe. I think marchionne will probably let him go sooner if he can find another driver for that seat. I think they should find a motivated driver as that will keep Seb busy and pushing harder.

Props to Perez for a sublime 3rd place and for his team mate to also finish in the points is a good thing. Loved how he made a move on Nico right before the checkered to steal a position. Feel bad for Haas as they did not do too well today. Maybe they should have hired Rossi in place of Gutierrez.

Hobbo, and Matchet were talking like Nico may be going to Ferrari. They were commenting that Gerhard Berger was trying like crazy to get Nico over. They even said Nico was already talking to them about the switch. The offseason is definitely going to be interesting.

I can't believe they didn't have his tires ready when he came in!

Nice analysis of the difference in pace between the two silver arrows

http://m.bbc.com/sport/formula1/36409542

Lewis was just the better driver on that day. Nico has to be opportunistic and scrap hard for points when wins are not there for the taking. Very similar to how Jenson won his championship with Brawn.
