^ Props to all the drivers for keeping it very clean and giving each other room on a track where room is scarce. Otherwise I thought the race was rather processional.

Nico extends his lead over Lewis, but Hamilton did well to come up the field to finish in 5th. Congrats to Ferrari on finishing second and fourth. Really happy for Checo Perez to see him finish on the podium. I'm hoping he and the team can continue this streak. Come to think about it, this season has been good for what are the mid-pack or back marker teams. At the start we got to see some good results from Haas and now Force India and Perez seem to have picked up the mantle.

Not a great race for McLaren with Alonso out and Button finishing just outside the points. Red Bull must be kicking themselves. To start the race in P2 and finish where they did is disappointing. They probably pitted sooner due to early graining on the tires that went away, and also possibly anticipating a safety car bunching up the field. Williams did well but both STR's out of the race and Sainz did seem to be going rather well.

In any case, its on to the next race in Austria in two weeks time. Hope that makes for an exciting watch.

Nico and Lewis both had the same setup issue with their car, but apparently Nico had done his homework and figured the problem out quickly, and Lewis hadn't. We got to listen to him whining to his engineers again.

Maybe he should spend less time partying with Justin Bieber and more time preparing for races.

200%. There's more to F1 than just 'arrive and drive.' Gotta do your homework! He gets paid well enough!

I expected more from this circuit. If was nice to see Wehrlein take a run at Hamilton after #44 returned to the track from a pit, too bad he lost it right back.

Some nice work from SV & Ferrari, during last week's race.

Not quite as simple as Hamilton not doing his homework per this article analyzing Hamilton's race

pisses me off to see the race affected by buttons on the wheel and software, at this rate F1 will be driverless cars in five years.

Damn hybrid technology.

Let's go back to 3 pedals and "big attachments".

We'd have SPORT instead of a high speed science fair

OK, yes, that was a bit harsh. The first article I had read on the issue didn't give too much detail.

Mercedes has also confirmed that race winner Rosberg suffered a similar problems on his car, but was able to rectify it sooner.
