Nico Rosberg Shocks The Racing World, Announces F1 Retirement After Championship

Crazy and totally unexpected. Who will replace him? This is going to be huge, I bet this will bring about a huge shakeup that will impact all the other teams.

This is a shock. But good for him and good luck to him. I can understand he wants to leave on a high

my choices for his replacement would be Max Verstappen or Jenson Button. Both those drivers will keep it real for Lewis.

Good for him and his family.

I was really looking forward to next season's "Nico vs Lewis".
Although people never really talked about it, I think Nico made Lewis a better driver.

I don't know how their contracts work at F1 but I think either Max or Daniel from Red Bull should replace Nico.

Max would make an exciting teammate for Lewis, but Lewis is still hungry for more titles and is contracted for 2 more years.

Behind the scenes , I think Lewis wants a dedicated No2 driver like Barrichello/Massa for Schumacher.

I agree that Ricciardo ( who's getting Webbered) or Max would be great in a Silver Arrow, but I doubt it will happen.

Bigger question is continued MB dominance, especially with the rules changes which can scramble the top teams
