Default 04' AP2 - SSM / BB Mamba

Sup ya'll - going to give a build thread a shot...will try and update as much as possible..

Purchased my04 SSM completed stock with 45K from a middle-aged female locally sometime around May 2010...

Rode around on the AP2 V2's ( sold to a metro member, few month back ) for a few month...got the itch for an agressive aftermarket wheel and contacted Memory Fab in California and purchased OZ's Racing Pegasus 3 pc. wheels in F. 17x9+45 R. 17x9.5+38 .. took the wheels over to Carl at Long Island Rim ( strongly recommend him for any wheel problems you might have ) to have them bored to match the stock s2000 wheels

A buddy was selling TEIN monoflex coilovers for a solid price with about 3K on them and I purchased them. He switched over to KW's as the TEIN's were too harsh for his taste..

I had my front fenders rolled and possibly minor pull and had the rear rolled..still need to get rid of the bumper tab.. />/>

Wrapped the wheels in Dunlop Star Spec tires F. 225/45 R. 245/40 />/>

Purchased purple MXP - Mackin Industries lug nuts from Evasive Motorsports

2011 - Purchased a Hytech NA header, 3" Hytech TP and Challenge 76TA-R from Greg at GT Motoring - got the exhaust in 3 weeks later but waited approximately 11 months for the header and TP />/> ...strapped it on with the help of my buddy Passman..top quality, premium performance and sound.. />

9-2011 - Let a buddy drive the car down the road he lost control of the back like a fool and smashed the lip of my passenger side wheel pretty badly..luckily they are 3 pc.

After deliberating over and over again about what I was going to do..I contacted Tuner Shop in Germany the only folks who seem to have parts for older OZ Racing wheels and picked up what I thought would be the solution to the problem.. />/> I measured the wheel incorrectly and wound up purchasing a 2 1/2" lip instead of a 2" lip which is what I previously had..I went ahead and took my wheels back over to Carl at LI rim and he put the lip on...research shows that the wheel was now transformed from a 17x9.5+38 to a 17x10+32

They look darn good with the larger lip and I was quite happy till I went to the garage and test fitted them...

I was not pleased at all as I enjoy driving the car spirtely..few days ago I contacted Evasive and purchased 17x9+35 Wedsport TC105n - Evasive Edition, will keep you guys posted as progress is done over the winter season />/>

List of items removed for weight savings:
- Air Conditioner ( full system including compressor, lines etc..)
- Cruise Control
- Windshield Washer Fluid Reservior
- Fully Gutted Trunk ( Spare, tools, trunk carpet and sound deadening )

Windshield Washer Motor to be removed and full interior gutting to follow after OEM / Mugen Hardtop. Target weight 2,550.

Thanks for looking.

Chris

@GFA..no, I probably won't be doing that till next season..I am looking to purchase a J's Racing Intake System then I will be looking into possibly a Haltech and will no question see Jeff Evans regardless of what system I get.
