I know. The tabs were bent to increase clearance. I am not willing to fully roll the front fenders yet, so I did all that I could to try to increase clearance and prevent further damage.

I may in the future just roll the fenders though...thinking if I buy anything else big for this car it would be a BBK. I am getting tired of fading pads 8-10min into a 20min session. I can't remember the last time I was able to run a 20min session...

You will have to come back to AZ. I got it back on the ground last night, thinking I might drive it today .

You could always buy some oem or spares and have those rolled. I would just hate to see the tire turn these into the track set by grabbing that lip.

I bought spare fenders once...then realized it was a PITA because of their size and how flimsy they are and I didnt need another project haha! Sold the fenders and said screw it.

I actually have a lot of clearance from the tire to the lip..obviously accidents happen and it would suck, but I am pretty confident based on how hard I have pushed that I will not catch the lip on track. On the street I am uber careful going in and out of sloped entrances.

Again though...baby steps...some day I will probably fully roll the fronts...

Usually people only mess up the fender going in reverse. It generally doesn't catch when moving forward.

^False. it is any time the front wheels are turned and the suspension is compressed. IE going into driveways or hard cornering on the track. The tread on the tire grabs very easily going forward under the right circumstances.

Curious but why haven't you rolled your fenders? You bent the tabs... why not just roll them?
