On the way home from picking it up in Miami, FL.. my then Integra GS-R behind it

In my drive way the next day

A week to the day after getting it, I was on my way to work from the boonies and someone hit a deer and left it in the middle of the road.. It was 530am and pitch black, by the time I saw it, it was too late. No mechanical damage just bent my rad support and cracked a bunch of paint off the bumper.. The bumper had been previously repainted red under the yellow and that paint job wasnt prepped correctly which explains the horrible flaking..

After the deer incident, at home with my old integra..

I couldn't stand the car being near stock so I decided to sell the integra (since I wasnt driving it anymore anyway LOL) and get to modding..

Picked up some Work Meister S1's 18x7.5 and 18x9

Got in some more goodies..

Got my Greddy Ti-C mounted

And more goodies...

Coilovers on.. Bumper is off getting repainted

And the bumper is back, along with a painted CF AP2 lip

Mounted the beaks rear tie bar, the stock one was damaged slightly from the deer incident..

Some random pics..

I got bored with the Meisters and sold them.. Picked up some rota slipstreams for the time being..

CF AP2 lip after some more run ins with (smaller) animals

Around thanksgiving last year I Picked up some Work VS-KF's, 17x8.5 and 17x9.5.. The S2000 couldnt pull them off like I was hoping But I ended up keeping these for a while

Installed the rockford P3S

Just after new years 2012 I was on my way to work when my car stalled a few times and wouldnt start back up..

The aftermath... Apparently the head/cams got starved of oil.. The intake side was nearly welded to the cam tower. This was at 195k miles so it was time for a new engine anyway..

It took me about 3 months of saving.. Luckily this was around tax return time and I found an awesome deal on a 05 F22C with 26k miles.. around the first of march I towed the car to a buddies house, bought a case of beer and got started..

Here is what was left in the engine bay..

Dropped the front subframe.. Im sure some of you will notice the pallets.. As high as I had to get the car I did not think jack stands would be very safe and these heavy duty pallets did the job wonderfully..

In the process I broke the stock motor mounts so I bought some innovative mounts and here they are mounted to the new engine and the trans bolted on

New engine mounted in the car

The next day March 4th 2012, purring like a kitten

June 2012 hit up a makeshift auto x event, no sanctions just running for fun

Sold the VS-KF's finally and picked these up since I got rid of my stock wheels during the engine swap process to help fund it.. Meanwhile im waiting on my new wheels

Ran into a GT3 on the road.. Sounded amazing

The white wheels above needed new tires so a buddy wanted them and traded me these Enkei RP03's just a few months ago, at this point still waiting on the new wheels

And a pic of the wasp composites splitter mounted

Finally the new wheels showed up..

Got them mounted

And here we are just a few weekends ago as the car sits currently

Great read. Really like how you did all the work yourself. Sucks about the small animals in the road though...

this is my favorite look:

they were already ate up... previous owner had cut the springs with 225/45's in the front, dented the passenger side one pretty bad. I'm planning to replace them with new ones and flare them with just metal work.. Already got a new door sitting in my room just trying to decide what else I want to replace besides fenders before I get it repainted.

Thanks! The pallets worked wonderfully, the car could rock back and forth slightly while lifting/lowering the front without any worry of the rear sliding or falling anywhere.

Thank you. In my younger years I was forced to do everything myself because I couldn't pay anyone. Back then it was fix it in the dirt or don't have a car.. Definitely fixed it in the dirt
