So it's been a while since the update I guess it's time to post some stuff. I still haven't caught up on everything that I did to the car during the detail and my folders with things to update are backing up.
Here are a few pictures from a drive that I went on back in March. If you follow Adrs2k's thread (you should if you don't) this was the afternoon from the picture he posted with the three CRs parked outside of my place. It had been a while since we had all gotten together and we figured a drive up north would be a nice change of pace. Here are a couple of pictures courtesy of Adrs2k.

Thanks again to Adam for taking all the great photos (doing all the hard work) and for letting me share them with everyone.

Really enjoyed this thread. I'm glad we're not friends. If I had to see this car and then drive my 03 gpw I'd just go ahead and drive it into a lake lol!In all honesty I got a white s2000 on purpose because my last car was a black c6 z06 corvette and I wasn't able to enjoy it without worrying about it 24/7. Every rock chip, swirl, watermark, etc.The white s2000 that I can just enjoy and give "normal" washes is a huge burden lifted off my back, but after looking at this thread there's definitely some things I'm going to copy. No more yellowing for me soon!
I love this thread as well as the original with your AP1. The attention to detail is amazing. If you could, i'd like some info on getting into those tight spots in the engine bay and more on your vinegar/water mixture. I didn't realize that's safe to use on the paint. Also, do you need to wash it off after using the mixture? Thanks!
I cut white vinegar down to about a 1 to 10 ratio with distilled water. I really didn't do anything that crazy. I mixed it all into a spray bottle, sprayed it onto the areas with the heavy hard water deposits, and then agitated it with soft and medium bristle tooth brushes. Afterwards I would thoroughly wash down the engine bay with filtered water and Dawn dish soap. Try not to get to aggressive with the solution and the scrubbing. The residue and minerals should break up pretty easily.

Here are a couple more photos from Adrs2k. He moved over to my side of the valley earlier this year and we took an afternoon to go scout for some new locations to take pictures. It took us a while but we stumbled across this long two lane road on the way into a state park. He spent his time taking the pictures, and I spent my time flagging down incoming traffic to let them know we were taking pictures in the road.

I have to say, I think I prefer the CR with the top on. The black windshield and top really help breaking up the sea of white. I feel like it really adds a lot of character to the car.

both your cars are meticulously cared for and it really shows, it makes me embarrassed. his photography style and the choice of backdrops really complement the classy/timeless approach to your builds as well. looks great.
