They're the perfect fitment for the S2000 physically if you don't want to roll you fenders, that's a fact.

However perfect fitment for style is subjective, so I want something that's slightly more aggressive.

I wasn't saying that RPF1s aren't quality wheels but Volks are a higher quality rim, but you should go with what you like for sure.

RPF1 are definitely not on the same level as Volks, of any type. Simple cast wheel vs. high end forged wheel, there's no comparison.

You want to get the RPF1 for sizing/aesthetic purposes, just leave it at that duderino.

Yeah totally Joey, I appreciate your input though.

You argument doesn't really work. There's no such thing as "simple casting" or "high end forging" - you either cast or forge something, that's it.

I've said that twice, so yeah that's what I've been trying to get at...

Steve and Sameed seem to understand my logic.

Nice setup.
Curious how you like the 350mm wheel? im looking at a personal neo grinta. Does it interfere with the gauges at all?

Thanks dude.

I think the wheel size is perfect, I wish it was slightly thicker but I'll live with it for now. With the Recaro I sit even lower so everything is visible but before I put the seat in I could still see the gauges fine.

The current Volk specs are great for a stock body and can run 225/255, depending on your height. But for a square setup you can't really beat the RPF1s. Amazing price, lightweight, strong, and perfect fitment for an s2k with rolled fenders.. I mean they don't call them ap2v4's for nothing. They're damn near perfect on our cars. I have a dedicated folder to RPF1 pics lol it's definitely an iconic wheel.

If Fernando had a more aggressive Volk setup we probably won't be having this conversation, but then again you can sell them for RPF1s and buy a lot more parts with the leftover cash and not really downgrade anything. Unless you consider the "bling" factor, which has never been an issue to me.

Don't get me wrong I love high end wheels like Volks, Advans, etc. If I had my way I'll have a garage full of them like pboi lol.

Exactly! If I had a 17x9 +40 or 17x9.5 +47 CE's/TE's I wouldn't be going through all this.

Part of the reason I'm actually considering selling my 9+40 CEs is because of fitment. It's just barely too muc for me in terms of looks. I've got everything to the point it doesn't rub but that still doesn't mean it looks as good.

The only thing you really give up with the RPF1 over the CEs is some strength and if you were on more aggressive sizes I'd say BBK clearance but with what you have now you don't really get that anyways....or at least I don't think you do.

I'm still tossing it up but if I were in your shoes I'd be looking to move to non-staggered as fast as I could. It's such a good improvement to the car.

No BBK for me!

The only thing is I'll be running 225/45's up front as I have a spare set of Z2's sitting around that I haven't installed on my Volks. Once I burn though those I may consider doing a square setup or at least a 245/40 up front.

Each and every time you post about your RPF1's you convince me, so convince yourself to keep them already.

Option #2 is too press in extended studs and do a 5mm spacer in the front and 15mm spacer in the rear, but I'm extremely lazy, despite the fact I'm a tech for Honda and I have access to everything I need.
