Amazing build, really admire your attention to detail! Unfortunately some of your old pictures don't load

Thank you
Yes I know it's because dropbox decided to break all direct links, I'm working on updating all the links but it's very time consuming.

I think I have updated all the image links now, hopefully dropbox will not break them again.

Haven't done much lately except some maintenance but I'll share that.
When emptying the catch can I got a bit surprised on how much fluid it had trapped.
My wild guess says it was around 50% E85, 40% water and 10% oil.

Wanted to try something else for the transmission so went with Torco, virgin samples on the sides and old fluid in the middle

Drained the diff fluid and wiped down the magnet, only done around 1k miles so felt like it was a bit much maybe

Trying a special 50/50 Castrol blend now mixed with some pear lemonade

Engine oil drained and magnet wiped off, not to bad I guess

Putting some Castrol in there as well

Took my wheels of to clean and put a new coat of wax on

While the wheels were off I took the opportunity to remove the rear dampers to ad a bit of preload, think I ended up around 18mm preload and the bottom collar at the lowest setting (screwed in max).
This got me at around the same height (~330mm) as before with the Öhlins recommended settings.

Very nice attention to detail and pictures!

Quick question for you. You said you used a shortened ep3 buckle for your PP ABE seat. Did you also use the harness from the ep3 so the annoying light and chime to plug your seat belt in would turn off? I recently got a PP ABE and am just thinking of the best way to attach a seat buckle short of cutting my oem ap2 buckle short and hammering it flatter to fit. Thanks!

Thanks for the nice comments.
Slowteg: No I didn't use the buckle harness, just unplug it and there should be no light

I'll try it with the OEM seat today and hopefully no problems. Thanks!

Last year I bought a Tamon style lip in the group buy that was arranged here but never got time to install it.
Just test fitted here

Didn't really like the idea of an open slit for the brake light

So fitted this piece of red tinted plastic window, yeah the lip was painted as well
Left a small gap in the 3M tape for condensation or water to get out, we'll see how well it works

Flashlight test

Fitted and out on the first ride for the year

Really happy about the look with the new lips

Rear shot, should have done one with brake lights active but forgot

Impressions after first few miles is, wow it's super quiet now, no crazy ITB sounds and also much quieter exhaust.
Track noise limits should not be a concern now which is great but maybe I miss some of the intake noise, I might change my mind after some top down driving though.
Did a quick log and I have some small tuning to do now, seems to need a bit more fuel on a couple of spots which is good.
What's really good is that I got nice and cool intake temps now, had the car parked and kind of heatsoaked but after only a couple of miles the temps was down to only a few degrees above ambient.
Less than three weeks until first track day now!
