Wooo Hoooo!!! Hope you stayed dry yesterday and today. the rain was nuts.

I did manage to get a little work done on the S this weekend and will update soon.

Man, everything fits so nice and low in the bay. It right at home, almost like it came from the factory that way. Great build and keep the pictures coming!

Fitting the coolant tubes

Super tight fit. The tubes are Aluminum. I think Stainless steel would be better. I needed to dent it. even with the shaving of the manifold to fit.




first shave. The nipples on the manifold are quit large.

So.... My buddy and I went to test fit the big headers. After chatting with the header builder we found out we have to shave the adapter plate a little bit to fit.

So since we know they will fit in the chassis we work smarter not harder. Removed the two bolts holding the beast in and went and did a test fit.

The factory bypass tube is on the back of the motor, there is not enough clearance to fit.

ended up having to notch the transmission.

After the 5th time stuffing the trans in I went ham on the notch.
