Default JDM S2000 Now a track car in the UK

Hi guys I hope I'm posting in the right section!

Just wanted to start a little build thread on my JDM S2000 now it's looking something like I want!

Bought the car about 6 months ago looking pretty stock

Sorry for the bad pic!

I then picked up some BBS LM's strong fit 9J ET42 front (5mm slip on spacer also used) with 215/45/17 tyres and 10J ET50 rear with 245/40/17 tyres.

To get it sat right I've got some HSD coilovers from Driftworks in the UK and also some Japspeed front upper camber adjustable arms.

Currently set with the camber at -3 all round and the rear arch lips folded up looks like this

Got a few other nice bits on like Spoon front tower brace and Spoon rear subframe brace, it's also meant to be on Hondata so I'll have to check that out soon!

Front lip to go on next week all being well!

Thanks, so glad that they fitted!

I wasn't sure if I'd over done it when I bought them but they seem to fit well and suit it :-)

More pictures to come when I have the lip back and fitted

Change of direction with the car having done a few road miles I decided I needed to get back out on track so swapped the BBS LM's with the slightly undersized tyres for some Rota Grids (cheap and easy to replace) with Federal RSR tyres.

Car looked like this for its first track day

I picked these up recently, 6 pot fronts with 335mm disks and 2 pot rears with 320mm disks both front and rear disks are much thicker than stock and vented!

My Rota Grids didn't 'pop' on the car so they went from this

The stock steering wheel was well worn so I've swapped in this one

And to give it a bit more noise I have had this custom made down turned exhaust

Not then best photo but I have swapped in a Mishimoto rad and oil cooler as well as fitting a twin radium catch can setup to go along with the AEM V2 intake

I've got another track day booked on the 16th so just about ready now just waiting for my new brake pads to arrive.

All the oils have been swapped and the car feels so so much better for fresh gearbox and diff oil!
