3/16/17:

Ended up dropping off my wheels and tires to be mounted.

Love how the wheels turned out.

3/17/17:

Installed the new wheel set up on the S2k. I'm using red Titek lug nuts but realized I didn't like the look of it. Ended up ordering up another set of wheel lug nuts in black.

Took some daytime photos of it to see it in the sunlight. Seeing it today I also noticed that the wheels poke out a bit. It's ok though cause I've got wide fenders and a bunch of aero coming in. So bare with me. lol.

here she is with her sibling.

3/23/16:

I met up with a fellow member on here to work on the car. Needed some help installing some stuff and Ed really came through (Thanks Ed!) Anyways, we worked on the car for about 4 hours and managed to switch out the exhaust to a Tanabe Medallion touring I had picked up to replace my outgoing Invidia exhaust. The Seibon trunk also just came in so we decided to slap that on while we were at it. It took a bit longer cause the trunk didn't come with all the holes we needed to mount everything. We also had to re drill the holes for the wing.

haha excuse the puddle on the wing. There was a sudden heavy bout of rain.

Dropped the car off to Track Spec in Fremont to get some stuff installed. Took me a bit of time but I managed to cram a ton of my mods into the car and drove it over. lol. Fun stuff.

I was also able to meet the owner and some of the staff working at Track spec. I feel like I'm getting old because everyone seemed super young to me. lol. I gave them a deadline of April 7th as I might have a track day that weekend. Until then, super stoked about the car. Have close to 20k worth of mods going into the car so I'm excited to see the finished product.

4/4/17: Bad news day

Been working with Son at TrackSpec and basically found out my car has a rear main engine seal leak and a oil pan leak. Grrrreat.

To make matters worse, cylinder #3 was showing a bit lower compression than what Son was comfortable with. I kind of expected these issues picking up a high mileage car but... just not so soon. Son told me I could run the car for a bit until the engine completely dies but I'd rather not chance it (and be left at the track).

It was a bit difficult but I was able to source a 06 F22c with 69k miles locally rather quickly.

Since we would be pulling everything out at this point. It was advised that we change the clutch, flywheel and rebuild the head (especially since we would probably need to do this anyways when I supercharge it).

Ended up going on a shopping spree and ordered the following:

- BC Stage 2 cams
- Supertech springs and retainers
- Spoon Sports Rigid Collar Kit (00-09 S2000)
- Ballade Sports Force Induction Clutch Kit (Supercharged)
- Ballade Sports Timing Chain Tensioner & Timing Gear Combo
- Buddy Club 00-09 S2000 Front/Rear Ball Joint Combo
- Ballade Sports Steering Rack Bushing Kit (ANO-Blue)
- Ballade Sports 06-09 S2000 70mm DBW Throttle Body Kit (Include Intake Arm / Filter Velocity Stack
- Whiteline Subframe Bar
- Works bell short hub
- Cusco lower sub frame bars

Also picked up a Forbidden USA Mugen replica hard top with OEM mounting hardware. At this point, we decided we were going to just move forward and gut the interior. Since we were going to do that, we might as well take steps to turn it into a straight track car so I decided to upgrade some of the components on the car to further enhance it's durability on track. So i went on another shopping spree and ordered the following:

- Radium Fuel Cell w/ Walbro 255
- Walbro 255 drop in fuel pump
- SBG Anti Gravity Battery
- SBG Oil Cooling Kit
- Radium Engineering S2000 Catch Can Kit (RHD/06-09 LHD) (20-0099 Dual Catch Can Kit)
- Flashpro

5/26/17:

Wow! Time flies! I've been so swamped at work that I haven't really had time to update my thread.

Let's see...

In April, I had sourced a low mileage engine and tranny from a local parts supplier. Turned out the engine and tranny was bad and then the guy tried to deny me a refund. Ended up sorting it through the bank and that was the end of it.

At this point, I was pretty sick of dealing with purchasing another engine and tranny so my mechanic and I decided to just rebuild my existing one. So I picked up a set of BC stage 2 cams from Tom and some new valves and retainers and we basically got to work. The engine is still a part at this point as I've been too busy to even race the s2k so there was no point in rushing my mechanic to do things.

Since we were just waiting around for the engine, we decided to tackle some of the other mods.

First up was installing some parts on my friend's S2k since mine was down anyways.

APR front bumper, brake ducts, and splitter on his black AP2:

Next, we got the quick release steering wheel hub in, hard dog roll cage, gutted the car, and my recaro pole positions installed.

We also got some of the exterior stuff installed such as the spoon style hood and APR front bumper.

I also picked up a set of these depo lights. I was on the fence about them and still are. But we'll see. lol.

Been accruing parts on the s2k at Trackspec. I think I take up like a third of their back storage space right now lol.
