My AP2 Project
bought a 2005 with 34k miles, was a show car with a body kit but stripped and parted out so had a lot of stock parts to reinstall.
the nice thing about building a track car is you end up with a bunch of stock parts! so luckily i never throw anything away and had a fresh softtop, both stock seats, stock seat belts and airbags, all the plastics etc to put into this gutted ap2...
picking up the car, its hard to drive a car with no seat...
got it home and mocked up the fenders and bumper
first thing was get the doors back on including reinstalling and aligning the glass panes as much as i like madmax i wasn't ready to be a road warrior
put all the plastics back in
and the softtop
the next step was installing a Kraftwerks SC kit i bought off ebay for dirt cheap, since the car had a wire tuck and some strange front crash beam installed, i had to do some work to make stuff fit
had to buy some parts to complete the SC kit
last thing is waiting for some ID1000s, 4 bar map sensor, and a new fuel pump.
also need to buy some AC parts and get the AC system back up and running, the compressor and condenser are still there just need the lines and the dryer assembly.
waiting on a bunch of misc parts from Honda to finish it up including fender liners, under tray plastics and a zillion bolts
will probably throw my 17x10 949s on this thing.
ordered some ebay ASM fake rear over fenders, gonna buy a riv-nut tool and install those soon too, then need to decide to paint or wrap the whole thing
