So... shout out to Chris for the SE37s haha.

I have really enjoyed the CR93s but I was really disappointed with the overall weight of them. Seems to me that they shouldn't be as heavy as they are, given their size and pedigree.

Changing to the SE37s and going from the NT-01 tires to the NT-05's, this setup saves over 6lbs per corner! Total unsprung weight saving of around 24lbs. I have a few sets of TC105Ns here so I pulled a 17x9 wheel out of the box and compared them to the SE37.

Even with not being a true forged wheel (TC105N is semi-forged) it was still even lighter than the SE37!

17x9 +40 Volk SE37 - 17.2 lbs ea

17x9 +35 TC105N - 16.4 lbs ea

In any case, I'm super happy with the fitment of these and glad I'm off of the R compound rubber... even if it required me to roll my fenders and relocate my rear tab.

The new look:

I have a few more things coming for this car but with the holiday season in full swing, I likely won't do much more to it until the new year.

Thanks for looking!

Big fan of the SEs, not sure if I am liking the red on silverstone though.

Thanks! I've got the car in the shop now as I prepare to change out my clutch and flywheel. As soon as those parts show up I'll be working my ass off!

Thanks!

Got some new stuff coming in soon but first I must change my clutch. So... I do the ACT HD PP & OEM disk combo, 11lb flywheel, near bearings, new trans fluid, new shifter spring, cup and holder. Stainless braided clutch line and CMC as well. Now time to get to work!

I really liked the look with the Spoon wheels on your car but you can't go wrong with SEs either.

SE's are going up for sale soon, I just picked up a set of CE's haha. But yes, I agree, I really liked the way the CR93s looked.. just too bad they are so heavy.
