After having the kit for a while and putting a few more miles on it are you still happy with it? would you still go with the same kit or would you go with Kraftwerks or SOS if you did it all over again?

So here is one of the pulls I got a copy of. One of the early pulls of the day where the car pulled 378 whp but if you notice above 8200 rpm the power fell due to belt slippage. we later readjusted the belt to fix the problem.( also adjusted the FPR properly) I plan on buying a slightly smaller belt to get this as tight as possible.. the problem fixed car made power all the way to red line spiking 15 psi.
Im very impressed with the numbers 400 whp that was reliable was the goal and it was broken.. The car is a blast to drive I will write up the HKS kit after I have more time driving. Im sure with smaller wheels It would fly.

Fellow HKS supercharger owner who is suffering a small issue with lack of boost. My boost peaks at 7500rpm at 9.2 psi and then drops down to 8.5. It sounds like classic belt slip and i have tightened it up to try it out again. What the highest boost you see when driving? I have the AEM 3.5bar map sensor so it would be interesting to compare. I run the standard charger kit with no restrictor so in theory its running at maximum power.

I love the HKS GT kit, with the titanium Js 70rr its magnificent... Im not a fan of SOS with the after-cooler setup and that style of blower where they tap into the engine oil ect. And the self lubricated blowers are time bombs... Kraftwerks seems to be a great kit, But it is American, and looks american... Great reviews but not proven on track or as reputable as HKS.... HKS is just a Quality kit all around...

I run the 15psi pulley, with Gatorback belt and highest I've seen was during the winter highway pull it spiked 16psi... I have the stock restrictor ... on 93 pump..
My advice is to ditch the belt... and tighten as best as you can.. get some tacky belt conditioner on pulley will help... If it still doesn't work make sure your boost gauge is reading properly (use another one or at the dyno use theirs.) Understand the belt does expand with heat and time.. so make sure its adjusted properly especially while hot... That should fix you up... If problem persists take pulley off get fancy with a dremel and make sure the belt has no way of slipping...
