And this pretty much brings us to where we are as of the week before Xmas. We spent a ton of time measuring suspension travel, engine mounts, ride height, frame rail height, squaring it all together, and then were finally able to do some welding. To tie in the frame rails to the front subframe. It’s not weld porn, but it’ll get the job done.
And that’s pretty much it for now.
Hopefully, the rears will be done soon , followed by the shock towers, and then we can actually sit the body back on the car.

Nemui - thanks! On the ccw wheels - you're not the first person to ask me that, but this is the 2nd pair of CCW wheels I had that were assembled this way. The only thing I can think of is that the flare on the nut is too big and hits the barrel on the backside? But I really don't know... :-/

Dude that is fantastic! I love the old TR6. I had one when I was in high school...but yours is going to be a bit faster now! Keep us informed on your progress, you are doing a great job and i know it has been a ton of work.

I forgot to mention. I originally bought a full set of spindles/hubs/brakes (each corner) thinking I could modify them to fit the triumph. These are now for sale if anybody is interested - $65 per corner plus shipping (HEAVY, would rather not ship).
Just for the record, I'm only good for grunt work, minimal fabrication, and funding :-) . The majority of the head scratching and fabrication is being done by my friend Forrest.
Back to the wheels for a second...I'm finding mixed results with no explanation as to why.
Here's another pair similar to mine:
But these are facing the other way (if you squint, you can see the wheel in the picture).

400hp initially. Then I'm sure i'll get bored, sleeve and stroke the motor, and look for a little more. ;-)

"Street Bolt - ARP 12pt Stainless Steel Bolt - Head of the bolt is shown as it's small enough to get a socket on and aesthetically nicer for street applications
Race Bolt - Grade 8 Cadmium Plated Bolt - Head of the bolt is too large for the face of the wheel so it is flipped as the nut is small enough for the face of the wheel."
