Another weekend, another big thanks to Mario! Just bought an 06 s2000 and was made aware by s2ki of how the valves can be tight from the factory. Took it to him, and he made quick work checking the subframe bolts and working on the valves. He mentioned that they were insanely tight, so its a big relief to know that I won't have to worry about it anymore. He also adjusted the clutch pedal to its proper position after my absolutely idiot attempt to adjust it on my own. Although I didn't bother him too much and just let him do his thing, he is a super approachable guy and easy to talk to. I have no hesitations coming back for anything else I might need done.

Thanks again man! Definitely worth the drive from SF.

Another thanks to Mario. Once again came all the way out San Jose. Installed ap2 oil jet bolts for me. Had it all done in about an hour. Also was able to get me a ballade oil pan baffle. Appreciate the great work and nobody hesitate to use this man!

A big thank you to Mario.
I recently acquired an S2000, but noticed a lot of wind noise in the cabin. It seems the new top was installed incorrectly, but Mario fixed the issue with a few tweaks. He also installed my cat back exhaust system in little to no time. Great guy to talk too and a very knowledgeable person when it comes to S2000's. Great guy, don't hesitate in using him.

Replaced my OEM high performance 2 piece engine mounts with Ballade ones. 12-17-16

Car feel was so much better after the mounts. 12-17-16

Ballade Diff Collars going in. 1-15-17

Dropping the dual exhaust and the sway. 1-15-17

Dropping the sway. 1-15-17

Right one in! 1-15-17

Left one in! 1-15-17

They're both in! 1-15-17

Previously when he installed the diff collars we noted a stress crack. Well on 2-6-17 I was driving around and heard a snap. This is the aftermath. 2-7-17

Too much VTEC.

Off it goes.

Mario had an AP1 exhaust and he threw it on my 05 AP2. Personally I love the AP2 tips, but I'm just happy he had this from his AP1 and I no longer have to deal with broken exhaust. Thanks for the emergency install Mario!

Mario is the MAN. I have only a few posts since I have yet to own a S2000, but I have been looking for a few months now. I recently saw a specimen that I wanted to examine in full and found this thread. I messaged Mario to see if he would be available to do a mechanical inspection of the vehicle. He agreed and we met up to go check out the car.

Mario knows the S2000 inside and out and paid attention to every detail. The owner didn't want us to do a compression test because the owner had heard that the check engine light would come on for at least 250 miles while the computer reset after a compression test. Mario assured me and the owner that he has never had that happen. Mario did the compression test, and there were no issues with engine lights. Mario did a great job of letting me know all the pieces that didn't look right physically and mechanically. If you are in the Bay Area, I highly recommend Mario for inspection of a S2000. Once I close on the car, I'm going to get Mario working on her and getting her in top shape.

Thanks again to Mario for being extremely professional while being very personable. If there is anything your S2000 needs, this guy can take care of it in style.

Rep for Mario. He can perform valve adjustments, maintenances, along with any mods installs. He has access to indoor/outdoor workspace in case of weather conditions. Wouldn't hesitate to give him a call if anything is needed!

Big shout out to Mario for working on my AP1 this past weekend. He installed the rear axles, rear wheel hubs/bearings, rear roll center adjusters and bump steer kit, rear sway bar, all 4 rotors, and adjusted the preload/ride height of my Ballade coilovers with an alignment to top it off. He also bled the cooling system as a bonus when he noticed I was low on coolant. Turnaround was 24 hours and he provided his loaner AP1!
