I’ll be posting this here first so the community can have first crack at it. If not sold within a couple days, I’ll then be posting it to all other outlets such as Facebook, Craigslist, etc. Figured I’d let the community pursue it before some kid comes and swoops it up real quick from Craigslist. First off, this is my third S2000. My last one sold for $25.5k in 2 days after posting it to Craigslist. I know what these cars are worth. The only reason I’m selling this one is because I have a budding family now, and the wife and I are looking for a small to mid-sized SUV for the time being. Not looking for any trades unless it’s a clean title Integra Type-R or a 2008-2009 Subaru Forester XT with less than 80k miles. Otherwise, cash or cashier's check only. I will be back into another S2k someday, but for now I have to part ways with this amazing vehicle.

This car is perfect for someone who wants to daily drive, canyon run, autocross, or even someone who wants a second S2000 to drive while keeping their garage queen nice and pretty. I planned to keep this car forever, but situations arise.

I'll start by stating clearly that this car holds a SALVAGE TITLE. The car was involved in a front end collision (front end collisions are the most desirable kinds of impacts on the S2000 due to the placement of the motor far back in the engine bay) with a mere 7,000 miles on the clock by its first owner (shame). The impact did not reach the motor or any of its components. All parts were replaced and I have all paperwork of the repair which was done under the ownership of the second owner; I also have a PPI (pre-purchase inspection) from Honda of Sacramento which was performed when I purchased the car. Car drives straight and true. It was sold and bought at auction by its second owner who was a Marine who owned it for years and didn't get to drive it as much as he wanted to. That's where my ownership begins. I purchased the car in August last year with 28k miles on it. It has a mere 33,500 miles on it. I drive this thing the way it was meant to be driven, frequenting the canyons of Northern California. The thing runs better than new.

Anyone in an S2000 in Northern California knows who Blacktrax are. I had a compression test done at their facility in Milipitas, CA which shows a compression of 250 across all cylinders. The engine and the transmission are cherry: no pops, no grinds, no strange noises.

The car is equipped with the Urge spec Gernpipe Midpipe Scavenger system ($1200) https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/112...system-launch/ with T1r Dual exhaust ($800). Arguably the best S2000 tuner and creator of the Gernpipe Midpipe (look this up if you are not aware of it), Gernby, tuned this car for me. I put over 6 hours into sending Gernby datalogs for him to analyze and tune with the Hondata FlashPro that the car is equipped with. The car came alive after the installation of the Midpipe + T1r Dual + tune. So much better in every way over stock. Over $1500 worth of tuning time has been put into this car to dial it in perfectly. Vtec has been lowered to engage around 3700 rpm (HALF that of the stock Vtec engagement) but has been done so by Gernby to work perfectly for the tune of the car. Vtec is still input dependent, so it only comes in when the appropriate throttle input is detected. You can still drive this car above 3700 just fine without engaging Vtec if you so please, no worries.

The interior has your typical S2000 wear marks on the seats and carpet. The soft top has a very small tear in the most typical spot on the passenger side; this can be easily fixed with some fabric glue or even stitched if you prefer. Never did it because the is a fair-weather car for me: sees no rain in my ownership. This car was clearly driven to be enjoyed, as I have also done. The exterior has been maintained with Meguiar’s products as well as with Raggtopp soft top products. Fenders are professionally rolled at all corners. I change the oil with Amsoil (the best) full synthetic oil. I will be changing the oil again this coming weekend unless someone takes the car before then. Currently has about 2,500 miles on the current oil.

The front end (hood, fenders, headlights, etc) are all still essentially new, being that they were replaced at 8k miles. These parts (especially the headlights) could be sold for a pretty penny themselves.

The engine is 100% stock aside from a K&N FIPK and Ingalls Stiffy Engine Torque Damper (I highly recommend both of these products). The TC105n are, in my opinion, one of the best looking wheels on an S2000. The Moddiction Anvil is the best shift knob out there. The coils are perfect for canyons and street driving. The tires are sticky and work well in all weather conditions. The tune and exhaust speak for themselves. The car is just a blast to drive and own.
All parts have LESS THAN 2,000 miles on them. In other words, they’re near new. Wish I didn’t have to give them up, but these things happen I suppose.

- I also have a brand new rep Tamon spoiler painted Silverstone ready for install that I will include in the sale at no additional charge

The car can be sold in various forms:
- Stock, for $14k OBO
- With all mods, including Hondata and tune for $18k OBO (steal)
- With whichever parts you would like included with the car; a price of which we will have to negotiate


Look up other cars (salvage title or otherwise) with this many miles and the prices they go for. Clean title 2006 cars with these miles go for $24k+ stock; salvaged title 2006 cars with these miles go for $16k+ stock. Salvaged titles generally take off 10-40% from clean title price. I think asking $10k less is more than fair. Please check your local or even national listings to verify this. I’m hooking up the next buyer because the S2000 community has always been informative and helpful to me. Won’t be selling any of the parts unless the car itself is sold first. Ownership Detail: Original owner of exhaust and used for less than 10K miles on a rarely driven 2008 S2000 Club Racer. It's in excellent condition and has been cleaned after uninstall; however, it could use a good polish by new owner. The exhaust comes complete with gaskets and hardware. Included in the sale price is a Berks 70mm test pipe with built in CEL defouler. The exhaust fits near perfect on any S2000 without any bumper or chassis modifications. All metal hangers and welds are in excellent shape. No rust.

I go between Redding, CA and AZ so if anyone wants in the Sac or Central CA area I can meet on my way back to Redding. PM if interested.
