Here's the cost breakdown:
Spark Plugs (OEM): $ 30.21ea $120.84
Coil (30520-PCX-007) $162.61ea $650.44
Induction cleaner? $ 56.98
Oil change (synthetic)$ 64.84 (filter + oil)
Total parts cost was $ 892.50
Total labor was $ 547.87 ($200 of this was for the alignment)
Tax $ 78.09
Discounts $ -91.83
Total $1429.79
Looks like I got railed pretty good on the plugs and coils:
Amazon
Plugs $21.02ea (OEM)
Coils $86.99ea (OEM)
Dealer added a markup of nearly $280-$340 on the plugs and coils above online prices (depending on where you look). The dealer's prices were also 6-8% over MSRP.
This is a pretty good example of how doing it yourself can save a ton of money.
PmanPop:
Thanks for the reference. I'll need to go in again for the belt and a few other minor things soon.

Yup, I was going off prices from Majestic/Hondapartsnow.com.
Induction cleaner is basically them saying they did cleaned your fuel injectors.. basically the same stuff as Lucas Fuel treatment/seafoam I guess.
You can also check our Raceline USA in Temple City for maintenance work. Elton does honest work for relatively low prices compared to other shops. He's a one-man show but has racing history back to the 90's, even when Alex from Ballade Sports was working on his K-Series S2000.

Well, in the end the car came back and the issue was fixed. What was really surprising was the car now runs better than it has in quite a long time, thanks to the now very happy F20C.

Not quite the SFV, but I would recommend Pro Auto Repair in LA. Talk to the main guy, Paul. He owns two S2000's. A black AP1 he just picked up, and a silver AP2 he tracks. He, the boys of Westend Alignment in Torrance and Elton of Raceline USA in Temple City that someone else mentioned are the only two I have touch my car since they understand I track my car.
