08 acr being rebuilt
I've had this car since 2010. Because of Bay Area traffic and having my own company for much of it, etc meant the viper sat. it really sat.
But, now it's almost finished.

highlights include:
custom ohlin suspension
bbg racing clutch
custom wavetrac diff
the suspension and clutch are works of art and science. Can't wait to get it back.

Bunch of misc stuff being done:
car was cleaned from the ground up
everything greased and oiled was regreased and oiled (sitting for 9 months)
new brakes with ss lines (rotors, pads, ss lines)
new tires
basicasly everything was gone through that isn't the engine or transmission. Fortunately, I had maintained them well (most expensive parts...)

Neat! Good luck with the project.

Were you planning on doing this work anyways (ie, you always planned to modify it) or is this your way of welcoming it back to your driving stable?

Honestly, I'm not sure I had a plan with it, but it was either sell it broken or fix it and keep it at least a year. I'd like to get it out on the track more then in the past too. I basically just had everything done it could possibly need to be better than it was before...I don't want to do any more work on it for a while. Also, the ohlins and diff fix a couple of issues with the viper acr...so it should handle even better than before.

I didn't realize it was broken...
Either way, great work and neat car.

I mean broken, in like, it hadn't been driven in 9 months and it has a good number of track miles. I could of lived with the old suspension, but it was convenient to get a bunch of stuff replaced at one time. The diff was making some noises but could of lasted for a while, etc.
