From what I've seen and heard, the radiator on the base Stingray and the Z06 are EXACTLY the same. Like the same part number. So, besides the intercooler for the blower on the Z06 which won't be on the Grand Sport, I don't think there is any additional cooling on this Grand Sport over a base Stingray.
I hope I'm proven wrong, but their BS comments about having the same cooling as the Z06 is misleading if I'm understanding it correctly.
Pretty sad as I'd actually be interested in a Grand Sport if it had BULLETPROOF cooling ala GT3 grade or better where you can run through a tank of gas in 100F ambient temps on the track without oil/coolant temp issues or power degradation.

Engineers adapted the chassis tuning, upgraded cooling systems, and performance technologies of the Corvette Z06 to give the new Grand Sport capability commensurate with its racing-derived history.
FYI, the blue stripes and interior are from the "Collector" edition, not in the normal Grand Sport.

I still don't think the Z06 has 'upgraded cooling' over the base Stingray besides the intercooler for the blower and maybe another vent or two. Again, I hope I'm wrong, but I've seen guys in the C7 Z06 section complaining about it since the C7 Z06 came out and it was noted the Z06 radiator had the same part number as the base Stingray radiator. Crazy.

I'd take this, I think. Looks better, lighter weight, nicer interior, quicker in a straight line (not sure about the track), daily drivable, etc, etc...
Yeah, it doesn't have a "special" engine but I'm fine with a small block LTx V8.
But I'd be okay if you forced me to take a GT350R.

The exterior would be so much better if it was less busy. As is there are so many bits and pieces it looks like a transformer.

That interior is disgusting.
Then again, GM is still king of "factory rice."
Purple, yellow wheels, yellow leather, stickers... who is responsible for this?!

Hahaha. Although I don't exactly think that Lotus is the brand of the proletariat. Haha.
