It would be a consistent increase with the trajectory of similar equip cars of 18 years ago. But I agree 400hp is better, as someone that is used to double the standard power in this car.

From my perspective, there is no reason to sell it as a rear transaxle platform "for optimum weight distribution", when the current one already has an optimum 50/50 weight distribution as is with a standard trans.

But all this is rather pointless to discuss, once again...

i really hope Honda doesn't reinvent the wheel. How many of y'all in this thread would love to buy a NEW Integra Type R or Prelude SH? Yeah, time marches on but those old cars would still be a blast to drive if Honda was still selling them now especially at those prices back in the day.
They didn't buy enough back the day to keep the production lines open.

If it's sub 3000lbs I might be a buyer. Otherwise no thanks.

I loved my 00 and 06 S2000s. I put 99,000 miles on the 00 and 117,000 miles on the 06. If Honda had come out with a replacement, I would have jumped at the chance to get one. However, I'm now hooked on my 14 C7 Vette vert and I very much doubt anything Honda might come out with would make me go back.

Dreaming...even GT4 doesn't have 400 hp and it's 6 figures.

You can probably buy a low mileage AP2, K20 or CTR swap for less than 40k total.
