Thanks guys. 2017 is the last year of production if anyone is interested. They actually look better in person rather than in pics.

HwangTKD: The blackout kit (6 pieces) and Holden badges were a total of $800. Since I had the car (1200 miles), gas mileage is currently 13.8 with mostly street driving. I have a heavy foot and haven't been on a highway longer than 10 miles.

I replaced all of the exterior Chevy emblems with Holden ones since it's really a Holden Commodore VF SSV. I dropped it about an inch and got a blackout kit to replaced the silly chrome in the front. I also got the windows tinted. It sure does turn a lot of heads. It sleeps net to my 500whp S2K which is obviously much quicker.
Congrats!!! Looks great! Love it. I've been interested in one for a while now. When I picked up my Z06 from Boardwalk Chevrolet in SF Bay Area, they had white one on the floor. It makes a great daily driver because of its unassuming appearance. I can't really park my Z anywhere, but the SS can be left alone. I really like the sleeper aspect of it. And the LS3 has huge aftermarket support and is very bullet proof. I missed the 20% discount last month, but will be on the prowl for a used one this summer.

Where can't you park a Z06?

I saw that sale, it cleared out all of the manual SS's within a 250 mile radius of my location.

That blackout kit changes the car from Malibu rental to badass monster. Well done, well done! Now throw a supercharger on her!

Looks great!

By the way, do the hoods swap between the SS with the pre-silly-hood-vents?

You have the color combo and look of the SS I'd want. Nice choice!

The SS is one of those cars that looks WAY better in person IMHO. To date I have seen exactly two roaming the streets of SoCal and they both looked great. I like how curvy some parts of the car's exterior are, and the cars definitely have a presence IMO. Exhaust note sounds good as well.

It's crazy the difference the Holden emblems make! Night and day difference in appearance with just those. The Chevy emblems just look terrible on any car!

I have thought of getting one of these many times. Wish they were styled a little more aggressively but otherwise awesome car!
