Fun car with usable backseats with low to no depreciation?

Not 997 but I was considering 996 Turbo...priced in low 40's and I assume at or near the bottom of the depreciation curve.
How far do you think the 997.1's (S, 4S, non turbo) have to go down before slowing down? Or have they already neared the bottom?

A nice S model is going to worth in the 30's for long time.

997.1 manual should have a pretty slow depreciation rate for a while unless you put a lot of miles on it. I wouldn't buy a base or an 05 though. Get at least a S or 4S. 996 turbo should have low depreciation as well.

How many miles on it? That seems incredibly cheap for what you get!

I'm looking for an already well-modified first gen Mini Cooper S, R53 to be my 2nd car along with my S2000. $7-9k gets a good one with pulley, coilovers, swaybars and other suspension mods, plus intake/headers/exhaust. These are as old a 2006 so pretty much at the end of the depreciation curve. A little more in repairs than a Honda but not BMW either. My wife has an Infiniti crossover so we are set for a family, luxury car.
Maybe this is outside the scope of your question but I'm curious... Why have a Cooper 4 door and a Highlander? Why does the 3rd car need to be able to do kid duty if you have the other two?
Good luck with your search.
