I JUST drove a '17 Carrera S two days ago. Not to be a tool, not sure a stock C6 Zo6 would catch it to be honest.

Ok, so stand in it for 12 seconds and you might catch up, at 130mph! Duck and check for flashing blue lights, lol... Of course, keep in mind - the PDK will do that all day, with perfect near-instant shifts at redline. With an average human driving the Corvette, gotta add in real world launches and shifting. How many runs do you think they had to do to get that 11.5@127?

Then it looks like fusionchickenleg stated a real fact, not an alternative fact. 'On the street my c6 z06 probably won't catch it till well into triple digits.'

I kinda cheated on my Cayman the other day too. One of my buddies brought this on our PCA drive to the Keys last weekend. I wasn't quite able to convince him to swap keys with me, lol...

They absolutely stuffed the tires into those fenders. I read in some publication that they actually can rub in hard corners.

Any idea why they went with 21"(!) wheels in the rear? *EDIT* never mind... looks like they wanted the exact tires from the 918 and spared no expense in making it happen:

Yep 991RS tires are known to rub on track so you have to roll the fenders even if your car is stock.
