For those who would be daily driving their CTR's and like the way it looks: what exactly would be so bad about the CTR? Why is its lack of AWD such a turn-off? And would that not be outweighed by what should be superlative build quality and probably excellent resale value?

If you put it like that, then nothing. If those aspects about the car meet your needs then I'm sure you'd be happy with one. But if all you are doing with it is using it as a daily driver, why not just get a regular Civic?

FWD sucks, and it was beat with an ugly stick.

Yup..we get it..having never seen it or driven it..you've already made up your mind. Move on. There are plenty of people here still interested in Hondas while many others have moved on.

I'm genuinely curious and will probably test drive it.

Just 10 years late is all. I am interested to see the sales when the CTR makes it state side.

Many of us would be interested if they'd actually make something new that the common working person can afford. FWD again? Man they have a great SH-AWD system they could apply to something sporty.

We don't need to drive the CTR to know what happens when you give it more than 50% throttle in 1st or 2nd gear - FWD burnouts.
