a car for 2012

Stealing Steve (m1bjr)'s thunder a bit, but the E92's ride on run-flat tyres is fidgety to say the least.
Likewise on my M3 I find the 19" alloys a bit jumpy on the cart track roads hereabouts.
Steve uprated his horses and roadholding in a very cost-effective project
Dave (Blurter)'s got an M3 on the 18s, may have an opinion.

A C63 AMG will dry hump the m3 then beat it to death while reading max power
Try one before you discount it altogether - they're one hell of a car.
Nice choices to have, good luck

Thanks Soulcrew, you playoff dodging, financial fair play dodger.
C63, not familiar with mercs.
Mikey you said the db9 was pipe n slippers , my neighbour has one, i think the right colour makes it look nice but ultimately its always the not as nice relation to the vantage (v12 ha ha)
The bm seems to suffer serious depreciation so might buy older

Jason you're right, bm's depreciate fast, but then so do all new cars. Only rich playboys called Mike buy Astons from new Ideal buying point in my not so humble is around 2 years old, give or take, as an AUC from a main BMW dealer with a year's warranty to run just in case. Often pays to wait and maybe miss one or two. If a vehicle is not moving, the price will come down by £thousands until it goes. They will not much do haggling but cash wins if they have more than one potential buyer.

I was lucky enough to get a good deal on one built to my spec.
