The Grand Tour

The vulcan review was good but the military thing was just woeful. Surely someone in the production team watched it and thought "god this is awful we cant use this"
I turned it off after about they died about 5 times. Whats with the celebrity thing as well?
The problem is they have filmed everything already and this sort of sets the standard of how they will approach challenges. Heres hoping it picks up abit!

If you regard it as three blokes arseing about, with some cars thrown in, and don't expect anally retentive insight into the actual cars, it's far, far better than most of the other crap offerings on TV today.
It's not about cars. Fifth Gear tried to make programmes about cars, and there was a reason why that slid inexorably down through ever more obscure satellite channels before being put out of its misery.
Although I agree wholeheartedly about the "military" part, which seemed to go on forever, and felt like a waste of airtime and resources, and the fat American is very irritating, let's not forget that it was still better than the complete dog's dinner that was Top Gear under Chris Evans. Mostly because it didn't contain a shouty ginger attention-whore.

It's just as shite as the last series of the trio's Top Gear - shite features. It's just entertainment that in my middle years - doesn;t find particuarly funny - bring back a proper car show with comparisons etc...although saying that ...Fifth Gear died a death too...Must be in a minority then!

The understeering Audi... He had only half turned off the traction control. You have to hold it down and it eventually warns you of death..
Anyhoo, same as others.. the fat yank is an annoying prick and the army segment went on too long - 2 mins would have been fine..
