The 6er is nice if you like a GT car
makes the E92 look dated
the 46 even more so and the 1M as hideous as ever

I can get the same horses by adding one of these and bugger the ear candy exhaust. Maybe try that backstreet DIY job

Possibly but the 6er starts at £95k unoptioned. Twin turbo'd V8.

BMW M6 Coupe - Cobham
touche and all that
i do agree, the M3 is a great GT car btw - i've been using mine to lug me to derby, 20 miles each way, and it really excels at that. for all my reservations about the 911 rival tag (not that i've tried them as they seem prone to falling apart) the car is really prooving it's worth, as it did in my schlepp to the station at Newark.. 10/10

Apart from the known issue! the M3 is reliable and engineered with spare capacity in the brakes, drive train and chassis. To my man maths the thought of 550 bhp in the 1550 kG (is it?) compares favourably with 400 bhp in the 1150 kG (?) of an S2000. Coilovers and big brakes I don't think will be necessary. Satnav, decent hifi, heated seats etc bundled in as standard makes for an excellent 'GT with cajones'. Shame about the autodim side mirrors though
