My 260Z Restoration
#43
Cheers guys! Its such an odd colour to photograph! In some lights it looks yellowy! I didnt want yellow arches as I can't stand seeing colour through the wheels!
Ive also bought some goodies for it! I went for custom spring rates of 4 and 4 instead of 4/5 that they normally come in as I want the ride to be really smooth, Im not going to be flinging this thing around tracks!
Also have a Safety Devices half cage on order

m really unsure weather to fit the cage or not as I've heard some people have gotten a crease in the roof from it? Can anyone comment?
Front splitter is all painted gunmetal to match the spoiler and rear light surrounds!

Im currently starting to put it back together..... scary times!
Ive left the cage out for now but I might end up putting it in at a later date.
I've also picked up another 260Z.... this one will be partly an aid to putting mine back together and then once mine is done and hopefully get restored at a later date. Its much worse than the other was though Its a UK car!

I'd forgotten this - it's coming on a treat!
Ref cage; depends what you're after. In a stripped track demon, necessary.
In a well-restored classic car, it's as incongruous as stancing a Lotus.

Thanks Guys! Toms I have to be honest I subbed all the welding out! I can weld but not that well and I wanted a top job.
Nick, the car is going to be a road car really. I doubt it'l see much track as I have the other car for that. Id die if I wrapped this up!
I love the look of the roll bar. Just seems like a ballache fitting it now its all painted
