Discovery Parts is a sponsor of the Performance Driving School, and will give you 10% off if you tell them you are buying a helmet for the school. They will also throw in a free helmet bag to store & carry.

And sponsors is why this is the cheapest track time in existence!

Have a friend and fellow instructor who, assuming his car is fixed, is interested in instructing. Who should he contact to discuss?

John came thru today on his way to CMP after running a bunch of detours from OBX.

He has some runs tomorrow.

Was an epic time as usual. Even though my RS3s are about done, I was still able to manage fairly consistent 1:55s. Got solo'd the 2nd half of the first day and made it through the 3rd session of Sunday until the last lap when the front brakes were toast. It was either swap on another set (XP20s or AX6s with the leftover XP8s in the rear...either choice is kinda sketchy to me) so I packed it in for the day. Home by 7PM and unloaded and in for the night by 9PM. Will definitely plan for this event next year. CRMC is an awesome group. Big kudos to my instructor John Dawson (Lee's son) for always provide solid feedback and positive encouragement. It was the first time solo where I felt actually 100% comfortable without having an instructor in the car, and I attribute that to John's attitude.

Sam Kendall's in Camden is a great place for dinner. The lamb chops were amazing

John called me on the way home yesterday. Brought me up to date on your performance. He said you know how to control and that you are fast.

Glad you had fun, got faster, and drove the car back on to the trailer Sunday afternoon. That's a win in my book.
Next year...
