If you play GT6, this database will allow you to run rough simulations of your favorite racetrack: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/resou...ck-database.4/
Can be all done from your PC using your playstation ID. I've downloaded CMP, VIR (Full), Barber, Watkins Glen and the tail of the dragon
I really want to get my butt to Barber.

Yea, I guess latitude, longitude, speed, and RPM. Maybe lat and long. acceleration?
First, I need to figure out if I can even compare the files so anything will do, haha.
Barber would be great if you have it, I've been there once.

Well apparently I was looking in the wrong section. The NASA HPDE at Hyperfest (May 19-20) isn't sold out like I thought...hmmmmm. Anyone going?
Stephen, you signed up for it yet?

I was able to recover some Barber data from my dying laptop, but the dataset is somewhat limited. At the time I didn't have the correct CAN cable to hook the Solo up to my Haltech, so the only readings I can get are those off the AIM itself...which oddly enough doesn't include latitude and longitude positions, just acceleration. Still want Barber or better to look for another track?

It doesn't really matter what track since I'm not sure if I can even find a tool to compare the different formats. It be nice to compare a track I've been to though. Road Atlanta or VIR would be good.
