I don't have any children, though I sometimes refer to my 2001 S2000 track car as my 15-year-old. My little joke turned out to be not so funny when I realized I would need to buy my 15-year-old car a car of it's own as it turned 16.

Yes, I will part out the blue AP2, but not yet. I don't really have anywhere to put the car now, and I don't want to unload and re-load a non-drivable car from the trailer before I have a place to put the car.

I'm building a new garage, but coordinating sub-contractors around weather, holidays, and vacations, is like herding cats...in the rain! If everything goes perfectly, I expect to be in the garage around the end of February.

In the meantime, I am watching the for sale threads and slowly building a price sheet.

Send me a PM with your e-mail address. I will shoot you a spread sheet I used to track my stuff and prices they sold at. Honestly there are some parts that are probably more trouble than they are worth pulling out of the car or storing.

I was amazed that some parts actually came out of the car.

I just found out my engine swap is finished and the car is running well. One last thing before taking to the track, get the ECU tuned. The car will run fine on the basic tune, but the redline is still AP1, and I don't want to repeat that mistake. While they're tinkering on the ECU, they might as well optimize the performance too. Dyno appointment is next Thursday.

I'm going to start signing up for events now. 😁
