Details: 2001 Yellow Honda S2000 with 149,000 miles. Garage kept. Clean title in hand. No rust. No mechanical issue. Top is perfect. No grind gear.
I am moving to the west coast next month and couldn't keep my S. The car has been garage kept by the previous owner and me (I bought it in June 2011). I work on this car myself and am almost anal when it comes to the maintenance. Oil has been changed with synthetic and OEM oil filter every 3 month regardless of mileage and I replaced brake and clutch fluid every time I did oil change. Transmission fluid and rear differential oil has been changed once a year with Honda genuine manual transmission fluid and Mobil1 synthetic gear lubricant 75W90, respectively. I also bled brakes and clutch whenever I changed tranny and LSD fluid. Spark plugs and coolant were replaced right after I bought the car. I did a compression test when I bought the car and got 245, 235, 243, and 240. Valve adjustment has been done twice and valve cover gasket and spark plug tube grommets were replaced when putting things back. People talk about timing chain tensioner problem here a lot so I swapped in a Ballad Sports heavy duty TCT as precaution. Clutch was replaced right before I bought the car and is still going strong. Coolant was changed with the new blue Honda type 2 when I found the car still had the original green formula back in 2012.
A couple of other things I can think of. I replaced the soft top strikers with OEM hard top strikers. The soft top, with glass rear window, is in perfect condition. I use 303 Fabric/Vinyl cleaner and 303 aerospace protectant on it as recommended in the forum. Tie rod end boots and front sway bar endlinks were replaced due to the rubber boots cracked and broken. Previous owner put on an AEM V2 cold air intake and I was never a fan of CAI due to potential hazard of hydrolock. So I had the CAI cut short and put on a washable K&N filter to make it a short ram intake. Previous owner also had AP2 exhaust put on just for the better look. It has Viper security system. The car has a BOSS 508UAB receiver with Bluetooth, SONY speakers on the door and Blaupunkt speakers added in the roll bar hoop. I am currently running 225/50-16 Continental ExtremeContact DW all around.

I read s2ki too much and was really worried that somebody might over-revved the engine before me. Here are the pictures when I pulled the valve cover to inspect back in 2011. I also did a compression test and replaced spark plugs as well.
