You're still hungover because without a doubt, the trip in question forced you to look Vegas straight into your face. Oh yes, it's easy on The Strip. You're always less of a douchebag on The Strip. You're not part of the Square or Eurotrash communities, and you get rewarded for it on The Strip.
. . . but we weren't on The Strip (mostly). We were off Strip. Now, did we get treated to excellent service? Mostly. Did we get some deals compared to Strip prices? Yeah. However, you had to be on, and on your drinking game. You weren't parking it at Fat Tuesdays with the amateurs; you were with a pack of people who encouraged bad behavior, rather than that douchy-oh-my-god-I'm-so-drunk crap. It takes work to balance; it takes no work to just be shitty.
Okay, so there's all that pontificating. . . or there's the soju you had. That might have done it.
