Well, it became official yesterday afternoon.
Vancouver Canucks fired Head Coach Mark Crawford.
Some of the names being kicked around for a new coach next year:
Brent Sutter - Coachs Red Deer Rebels in the WHL, and has coached the last 2 years' Canadian Junior teams... is also brother to Calgary Flames' Gary Sutter
Marc Habshied - Former coach of WHL's Kelowna Rockets... led the Rockets to 2 consecutive Memorial Cups, one of which they won. Is now coach for Hockey Canada and looks after the World Cup events, Olympics etc.
Ken Hitchcock - Philadelphia Flyers coach, who will probably be looking for a job in a few days if they continue to be blown away by Buffalo

Anyone catch the Lightning/Sens game? A bit chippy. 
Chara and LeCavalier dropped gloves ( !!! ) and Chara was locked and loaded.... Quite the game. I'm expecting some real fireworks Thursday

I'm still waiting for the Wings to get in Playoff mode..... they are in deep dew if they don't crank it up Thursday.

I saw a few minutes of the first period... didn't see the Zdeno vs. Vinny scrap though!
I did however catch the OT and 2nd OT period of the Oilers - Wings game. Yikes... great hockey on both ends of the ice! Too bad Edmonchuck won
