Recommendation for Mechanic in Berks County, PA
What is a good service company/person in the Berks County area for the S2000? Is Piazza Honda & Acura good for the service of a S2000? Thanks -

That said, depending on what you need, I can help you, Billman250 can help you or some of the local independent S2000 experienced shop in our area can help you.
Welcome.

What work do you need done? You should be able to handle routine maintenance by yourself with some simple tools and probably jack stands. Fluid changes are easy if time consuming (I gotta get a roller creeper for under the car!); valve adjustment, spark plugs, compression checks, etc. are easy too. I just did a complete oil change (engine, gearbox, differential) per the Maintenance Minder (did the gearbox just 'cuz I was under the car). I've yet to need major maintenance or repairs though.
The Maintenance Minder said to change the cabin air filter. Come on, how dirty could it get in 16 months on the road?!

You should really be posting location specific questions like this in Del-Val.

I live in 18067.
What do you need done? What year is your S? How long have you owned it? Any maintenance history that came with it?
I've owned my S2000 12 years now and besides tires, only 1 other person other than myself has touched my car to do work on it. (Billman250)

I have a 2009 Acura MDX that is service by them. I ask the service manager if there is a "special person" to work on the S2000 and he said that any other the techs can to the work. I bought my 2007 S2000 in May '16 from DE, a stock, one owner with 10k miles. The car comes with the service records which is just oil changes and inspections, nothing else. It need inspection, fluids change out and a checkout. Piazza would not be good for that kind of work? I see in the forum that Youngs Auto in Cheltenham is good but it is far from home.
P.S. - I use to follow the Corvette forum with my '98 Vette convertible and my '58 Vette which lives in Germany. I sold both of them after I had a stroke six years ago but I still wanted a convertible. I liked AH roaster but I seen the TV show, Wheel and Dealers, about six months ago on the Honda S2000. I liked it. BTW, I got 30 mpg on my S2000, better than my '58 Vette w/ 2x4's at 8-14 mpg. In advance, I apology for my incorrect spellings and my sentences that don't make sense at time the way I say something. I spent a hour for this email. The stroke was kind in my body but not in my speech's. Never have a stroke in a bus pass by NYC. BUT, NO complaints! Thanks again -

If you're willing to make the drive to 18067 I'm sure we can work something out.
I cannot do PA state inspections or emissions though.

Jenni, I live in South Central PA, just above Baltimore (17361). What you need is the "Billman Onceover", where Bill goes over your car completely and checks everything. Worth every penny. Work with freq to coordinate it. Bill comes in every few months or so, it seems. We owners travel from miles around for his services. You'll see!
